Trip to see the big man

Well the trip to see FC with Jess, Harry and Rosie was so very close to being a success until, after waiting in a very cold grotto for about an hour, a slight mishap occurred and poor Rosie fell flat on her face, the very moment she was going to meet Father Christmas for the first time. She was so upset that it just didn't happen.

Jess and Harry were OK though and Harry confirmed that this actually was the real Father Christmas (mainly because his beard was real). He couldn't hide his disappointment with his present though. A book with a unicorn on the front was just not a hit with 5 year old boy, so we managed to get something else - a three headed dog thing to be precise which was much more up his street.

Nearly drowned in the rain coming out!

It was good having them stay over. Never a dull moment!
