Great egret lunch time

Saw this beautiful great egret on the Canning river today. It was fishing - first shot is with the beak full of fish, second shot you can see it going down the long throat (the neck is two and a half times the body length), and then it flew off.

They are the only bird where the gape passes the eye, so they can open the beak very very wide.
