Festive Lights

What a dire day, in terms of weather. Bitterly cold when we got up and a grey, lowering sky.

As we left Open Church coffee morning, where we'd had a good chat, it had begun to rain. And it rained all afternoon.

I took the opportunity to retreat into the conservatory to trim some photos. Kept wanting to sit down and close my eyes. The Importance of Being Earnest was today's radio play. I relived my role as Lady Bracknell. The way the actress delivered that immortal line, 'A Handbag!' was quite different from Edith Evans.
