Winter!

MrsDroog and I are in Northallerton to meet friends for a get-together involving much booze and bonhomie. Conditions are appalling: the rain is heavy and beginning to turn to sleet and it is as cold as a used car salesman's heart. Naturally, we have taken shelter in the bar.
