Inside or out

I think I'll stay in as you can see behind the cyclamen it's wet out there (also cold and very windy but the promised snow didn't arrive).
Volunteered at parkrun this morning, recording the unscannable barcodes and thos who didn't have them - in fact no-one forgot and only 2 didn't scan, a record.
Then did a short run to the cafe to warm up, did some chatting over a cup of tea, ran back to the car and did a bit of shopping as were expecting son and 3 grandkids for tea. Got home to find they weren't coming after all (Mr Rat had tried to phone but I was running or in the shop and had left the phone in the car!) as one gk was unwell and they'd had to cancel the meal they were doing for work colleagues. (Originally we were going to have the 3 gks overnight but that was changed and now none!). Fortunately there was room in the freezer for what I'd bought so we can have it next time they come.
Afternoon snooze and some work on tomorrow's service.
