The maid's room

My brother and I visited a castle where we've been many times before, castle De Haar, renovated in all luxury around 1900. Used by the family mostly in August and September, when they would entertain guests from royalty and showbusiness like Brigitte Bardot, Michael Caine and Roger Moore.

The family and several guests would bring servants with them. This is one of the maid's rooms. Today's tour went along some servant's bedrooms and workrooms, in the attic. An interesting tour.

The castle is very big, they're still renovating rooms so they can be opened up to the public, like they've done this and other rooms in the past year. I'm already looking forward to their next surprise!
