Scouting for fish

A workshop in Nelson today meant that Kiwilizzie and I have spent the day up there. Now you can't waste a trip to Nelson, so after it finished we headed into town to do a few jobs and cross a few things off our respective shopping lists. Followed by a rare visit to the cinema. We saw Intouchables - a great movie, well worth a viewing.

After the movie we opted for dinner at Styx, a cafe on the waterfront. While we were eating a group (pack? troop?) of cubs and scouts were spending their evening fishing off the old wharf. It was so great to see boys out enjoying activity - and they were all absorbed in what they were doing though I don't think anyone caught anything.
