Wet, cold and miserable all day

and I didn't even open the door, let alone put a foot outside.

I used the vile weather to reclaim a bit of personal history that's been on my mind recently, writing, more gently than the text I wrote then deleted at the time, about when I was removed from my job 3½ years ago for standing up for our service users. That organisation, which was 'too short of money' to keep employing me, has expanded ever since and is now recruiting an education worker. I'm not applying!
