Friday 2018 — Cayucos Sunset

I’ve blipped Cayucos sunsets dozens of times, but honestly, we never tire of seeing them.

When we’re here on California’s Central Coast we almost never miss seeing the sunset, unless it is cloudy. On rare occasions a sunset will happen without us, but that is never our desire. So here’s the one for today.

Today was Mr. Fun’s birthday. It wasn’t the best of birthdays; the dancing girls didn’t show-up, the helium balloon delivery did not arrive, and the cake never got baked! I’m kidding, but only slightly. We spent a good portion of this day looking through disks of old photos — pretty boring. But we did eventually find the photos our granddaughter Ashly asked us to look for.

And because he didn’t want to go out, for dinner we ordered a Domino’s veggie pizza with pineapple and it was delicious. But overall this birthday will not go in the memory book as a spectacular birthday.
