Carmen & Giselle

I don't know many villages that can attract the Moscow Ballet to perform on a regular basis but my wee pueblo of a La Nucia seems to be one of their favourite gigs and they come here every year. It's strange to have an auditorium and arts centre that attracts world renowned acts. I was brought up in a village, Garelochhead, 36 miles outside of Glasgow and the only thing mildly cultural I ever saw there was Christian (the afro haired Scottish singer) doing a gig at the Civil Service club. He was dire of course.
