More than twenty years ago mmy parents and i drove to Scotland for our holiday. We went via the scenic route and stopped off at Ecclefechan for lunch. This was were I had my first taste of Ecclefechan Butter Tart...
Sainsbury has them in stock for Christmas so i just had to buy a box.... The original one is still the best
