The Promise of A King

Promises....they come in all shapes and sizes. Promises be found in declarations of change during political campaigns, they can be assurances of a brighter tomorrow when we are going through difficult life experiences, they can be the expectations of Christmas day in the eyes of children. Promises are central to the Christian faith because of the assurance of God’s presence in our life’s today and eternally. The old testament prophets foretold of the promised Messiah that would be sent by God to earth.
This morning our church choir presented the cantata. The Promise of a King. It was a joy and a blessing to direct this wonderful group in presenting the Christmas promise of our Lord Jesus Christ.
