Badia Prataglia

We drove up to the snow line and freezing temps at Badia Prataglia. Slush on the road at 750m. We turned back but it was nice to see. They had clearly had the ploughs out but for not much.  Our digger man, Franco Bondi is recovering from a torn ligament and fears he may lose his snow ploughing contract to the competition.

We didn't make it back to Florence as the night brought plummeting temps and freezing snow on the Consuma Pass at 1000m.
