Tinsel and baubles

Today's the day …………………………. to get Christmassy

I decorated the Christmas tree today which is an instant way of feeling that Christmastime is upon us.

And, of course, it wasn't just any Christmas tree - it was my wonky Christmas tree  that I write about every year.  This is because incredibly, those wonderful Removal Men that looked after us when we moved house back in October, had managed to squeeze it into the van, somewhere near the kitchen sink.  So it's here with us and quite frankly it has never looked better.  Must be because it's a Scots Pine - and it has returned to the homeland?

And it was a great joy to bring it into the house and put all the baubles and tinsel on it as usual.  This time though, there's a very special new bauble.  You see that whiteish one, right of centre at the back?  Well that was decorated by Dominic and given to us specially.
