Decorations

Today the process of decorating the house for Christmas was largely finished, and the storage boxes hidden away. This is a light up snowflake; I liked the contrasts. 

I've been sorting things out, writing cards, wrapping gifts, and taking some things round to a friends house. Last night was a get together with friends - some great cooking, and a good time. One set of friends have a new wood burner, and I happened to have some accessories which I had no need of, so took them round. 

Its surprising how quickly Christmas seems to come around these days. I had to do some preparatory shopping, but I'll still need to sort party food. I always seem to get too much.
