Postcard from Christchurch..

.......On a Walk Around the City Early Evening

We had a short walk around the city before going out for a meal. The wind was cold but it didn't rain, which was good. This is the first time I had a walk around the city since coming home from my trip. A few things have changed.

Tūranga the Christchurch central library is open but not after 5pm on a Sunday so I couldn't have a look inside. The Middle,Top Right and Bottom Right Shots in this collage are of the new library building.

They have started the process of removing the steel framing reaching out from the earthquake damaged Cathedral this week. You can see that in the Two Shots on the Left. Here is a link to about the work on the Cathedral.
