Sunrise over Dunblane
Late last night there was a flurry of snow, nothing too serious but enough to cause icy slush on our road.
Today happened to be the annual drinks party for our road so I went with great trepidation on my new knee armed with my snowboots and ski poles.
Several people were missing, already abroad ski-ing and our neighbouring surgeon sent his apologies: he is operating tomorrow morning.
So it’s good to know that the “don’t drink and drive” message extends to: “don’t drink and cut”.
Meanwhile another brace of pheasants have appeared on our front door.
