Just A Cow In A Regency Wig...

After breakfast in Newcastle and a quick wander around the Christmas Market we decided that we would really get into the Christmas spirit for this year and head to Castle Howard to enjoy their Christmas decorations.

We have been to Christmas at Castle Howard every year for the last 4 years, it never disappoints and this year was no exception ...it was a beautiful display based around the ‘12 days of Christmas’ and in my opinion one of the best yet....incase you were wondering about the cow in the regency wig....8 maids-a-milking of course!

Our visit was very nicely topped off with a delicious mulled wine and Christmas cake in the cafe complete with sparkling trees and sheepskin covered seats.
