Ashley birds

Had a wonderful walk at the Ashley with flying today - not planned but it was too nice a morning to be stuck inside, so off we went. Lots of birds there, the light was pretty harsh, but the walk was lovely.

The birds going clockwise are spotted shags, white fronted tern, young spotted shags, resting wrybills and godwits in flight. We also saw dotterels, spoonbill, black fronted terns, gulls, pied shags, the usual ducks etc. It's a great place!
