Blackbird tucks into berries

Heavy snowfall in the night found the world transformed into something out of Narnia this morning.

Maybe a sign of shortage of food for the birds though is that blackbirds were busy tucking into the cottoneaster berriers in our garden. Normally they are not very keen on these berries and leave them until last.
