The long and winding road

...leads in fact to our door, eventually. Snow is wonderful in lighting up the paths across the forest. These are so dark in this time of the year, when you go to work in the dark and return in the dark, and only admire the daylight from your office window. In addition, the snow also covers all stones on the path (old gun road with stones to make it bear the heavy guns) making it much smoother to walk on. The snow really makes a big difference, to the better.

Loved the shadow as well, and that is why I took this shot.
