Tree meeting

Listening to the audio book of Peter Wohlleben - author of 'The Hidden Life of Trees' I am seeing trees in a whole new light. The scientific discovery that trees have a whole range of chemical communication mechanisms  and that they support each other is really mind-blowing. This little clump of larches in a sururban landscape are perhaps checking each other out after the cold snap!
