Did you see it....?

Nope us neither!!

A few hours spare today and the sun was out!! Lifes Journey and I headed to see the White Tailed Eagle off the A31 Nr Burley.

A moment missed sadly. Literally! It had been sat in the top of the trees n flown about 15 mins b3fore we arrived.

This juvielle WTE is thought to be passing through from Scotland. It's ringed but as yet no confirmation on its details. The forestry commission have placed a deer carcass in the valley which it has been feeding on. We waited approx an hour and it didn't return in that time sadly. It is reported to of been around for apparently 10 days. All our info is from talking to other twitchers and togs today, who were all very friendly.
