Christmas walk

This morning I joined the walking group for the traditional Christmas walk, a short circular from Powys Castle via Welshpool followed by refreshments in the castle's tearoom.

There were deer around but they were quite a distance away and I didn't have my long lens so the pictures aren't worth blipping. A group shot of the gang walking through the castle grounds will have to suffice.

There were some cattle near the path and most of us walked past them without incident. Unknown to me, a bull took a dislike to the tallest and largest of our walkers (threat of a possible rival perhaps). I missed the confrontation between the two as it was behind me but that could have made a more interesting blip!
