Magical mystery tour

Today I have been on an unintentional magical mystery tour. I bought my little Townrider ticket in order to go to the Drs surgery. I didn't think I would finish in time to catch the return bus but as I got to the bus stop my bus was there (or so I thought!) I soon realised however after being on the bus for five minutes that the bus was going out of town and not in the direction I had hoped. After talking to the driver he said he thought it was strange that I was using that ticket on his bus! Anyway, to cut a long story short, I ended up doing an hour and a half round trip across the fens. Ending up in exactly the same place as I had started and walking home anyway! The only good thing was that the bus driver was very kind and didn't charge me for another ticket.
