Berlin Musical Instrument Museum

Last time we were in Berlin, we had breakfast at a place called Café Einstein, which was fantastic. The Minx found another place by the same name - so presumably related - where we went, this morning. I loved it; all the waiters were older (i.e. my age) men, charming and laid back. I could have stayed there for hours.

But instead we had a wonderful walk through a park, which was more like a forest, and made our way to the Berlin Musical Instrument Museum, where we wandered through the amazing history of musical instruments. My favourite part, predictably, was the area for synthesisers. (Here is the Minx, synthing away.)

We spent the rest of the day mooching around from bar to bar, visiting various landmarks and bridges according to the Minx's agenda; it was wonderful. We finished up, later in the evening, at the Schwarzes Café, where we had desserts and book reading and trying not to think about flying home tomorrow.
