Busybee

Acceleration - quite a few jobs done today including mowing the lawns - which are rapidly turning into a dustbowl.  It was the hottest day of the summer so far - 32 degrees was registering on the thermometer at the back of my house, though officially, Nelson 'only' reached 28.  Fortunately, it only lasted a few hours and according to the weathermen, we're due for some rain tomorrow which should not only cool things down but also help the gardens.

Poor LB has been suffering from the heat these past couple of days and seems very reluctant to spend much time indoors.  He's hardly eaten anything, poor boy.  There's plenty of water outside for him too - if he could speak I'm sure he'd be asking for rain and cooler temperatures tomorrow.
