A New Blanket of White

Dear Diary,

I love little snow falls like yesterday.  Just a couple of inches of soft white to cover up the dirty parts making every think look clean and beautiful.  This is not a mono image.  At this time of year my world is naturally monochromatic!  The little garden fence is barely poking out.

Emerson is off to stay with his Auntie Rebecca and Uncle Brad until I return from my trip south to visit friends and relatives.  I am looking forward to that.  I worry about my little critters but the temperatures aren't going to be too bad.  They'll make do.
