Bass Pro and Cabellas Christmas.....

The TV has had some really fun and family oriented ads at an outdoor  sports store, by the name of Bass Pro and Cabela's Outdoors.  

Bass Pro and Cabela's markets all things great outdoor's!    You can find roller blades, hiking equipment, backpacks, platypus's (water for hiking) fishing, boats, hunting, archery, 'survival supplies, camping, tents, clothing suited to all the activities and on and on......   What was so attractive to going to the store was all of the seasonal activities for Christmas that was going on inside.   
       Kids could actually catch a fish,  The store has a waterfall That is probably 15' high.  The water flows over rocks into a VERY large aquarium, where  fish swim .  At the bottom is a pond that  water flows into and here is where kids can feed fish, drop a line, and enjoy the sounds and feel of the great outdoors.
      Kids could go to Santas workshop and create crafts for the holidays,  ornaments, cards, paint.  Kids could see Santa and his elves, write letters when Santa wasn't there, get photos with Santa and sit with him when he was, and so much more. 
    There was soft music playing every wheres, and  not the same song   blatting at you.  Each area had it's own sound, song, or theme going on, softly and pleasingly.   The best part of the store was all the decorations, beautifully placed  in little nooks and crannies...  I even found Elf!  he was sitting up in a tree, on a platform looking down on the children.  I was told that Elf moved all around the store, waiting for a child to find him and get a prize!  
     The time spent there was wonderful....  I left with a lighter step, a song in my head, and joy for the season.....  and an appetite for a Blaze Pizza!   Yum!!!!
