Still standing

The wind was pretty strong last night and it had most of us awake all night listening to it thunder around the house and pressurise the windows. 

My greenhouse still stands but it has lost most of the glass and the door. No glass left in the gable or the right hand side. I think the wind funnelled down the far left breaking inside and exploding it from within. The chickens were right next door in the tunnel and they were a little nervous this morning. In the nearly 20 years we have been here I have not ever had so much damage. Neighbours lost shed roofs, whole sheds and arbours so we didn't suffer alone.

Today was spent picking up glass between working.  I don't think I will be able to eat my winter lettuce that I grew for the first time.
