It's beginning to look just a little bit like.....

Our decorator's wife had her scan and the results were not good, so he has not been able to come back. His colleague has filled in for him and is doing a great job, but can't stay all day as he has other commitments. However, he's finished all the painting and has papered the wall over the fireplace and the long wall by the windows, so things are starting to look better. He's hoping he'll be able to finish papering the remaining two walls before Christmas even if he has to bring his son with him on Thursday.

We had a three foot tall pre-lit Christmas tree in the loft so that is now in the corner, and we've got a string of lights on the mantelpiece so it's starting to look a bit festive even with the raggy carpet, bare concrete floor and furniture stacked at the back of the room!
