In the round

I've never knitted on a circular needle before but have thoroughly enjoyed  knitting the Swinside Shawlette which I purchased as a kit from the Sheepfold Stall at the wonderful Yarndale wool show we went to in  Skipton in September.  The lovely yarn is from the Blue Faced Leicester sheep and the colour is  'Mallard'. 

I don't normally wear slippers but as the professional carpet cleaner has been today, slippers are a must. He came at 9am and it's now nearly 6.30pm.  He said that the carpets would be dry in 3-4 hours but I think he's  underestimated. The house still smells of wet dogs and horses - not that I'm all that averse to the smell, but hope it's a bit sweeter in the morning?!
