The first tree decoration

The period up to Christmas is exhausting.

There is loads to do at work - no let up, in fact quite the reverse.

And then there is Christmas itself. Started card writing Sunday evening, continued yesterday evening, and more to do tomorrow.

I also bought a tree on the way home last night. We like a real one. J tells me it smells wonderful ( my sense of smell is less than rudimentary). We put the tree up this evening, lights are now on (I need to get some new bulbs), and the first decoration is now attached. A snowman.

The rest will follow tomorrow. These things need a bit of pace.
