The Baker's Assistant

The backyard bakery’s schedule is dictated by the weather. Luckily for them/us, we’re in for another spate of sunny days. He’s putting the final touches on the butternut squash and goat cheese galettes while the wood-fired oven is cooling down from the earlier bread bake. We picked up a giant loaf of delicious country bread that was still warm! Oh, and a brownie.
