DUCKIE....

..... dropped into the mighty Nepean River on the way home and whilst it was just super to be there (a perfect arvo) there was not a lot happening.

Found this Pacific Black Duck with a mate cruising around. It then settled in for a bit of a rest whilst it's mate took off. Also noted the mate had lost its right eye.

Had a chuckle when looking at the pics have a look here and see a little dragonfly giving chase!!!

Then along cruises a couple of Black swans checking things out here.

After all the rain (storms) lately noted the rivers water level has risen quite a lot - and after the massive dumping with hail and lightening tonight it will surely rise some more.
