Hail in Hale
Waved my husband off this morning for his month in London. I once read somewhere you can tell a lot about a man by how he treats a taxi driver. Well, my husband jumps in the front, shakes their hand and chats the whole way. Which is one of the reasons I married him.
We're really going to miss him these next few weeks. Roll on Christmas when we have a week together again!
We've taken Audrey off her reflux meds the past 24 hours as she has a doctor's appointment tomorrow to get some more if she needs them.
I had a sneaky suspicion she didn't need them anymore especially as we've started her on solids and she's sick less often. I couldn't have been more wrong - she's been crying constantly, won't lie flat in the pram or on the floor and has just generally been out of sorts. Have seen a huge difference in her which makes me realise what a great job the meds have been doing! Shame though. I hate the fact she has to have them. A quick google search revealed that babies can stay on them up to the age of 12 months. Nightmare!
My parents had originally meant to babysit today but my Dad was ill. Am really glad they didn't. It wouldn't have been much fun. I was glad to put her to bed, she was that bad - and it's not often I say that!
We spent the day in Hale (where it hailed - aaah the irony!) In between her crying fits, I managed to buy her some lovely clothes from my favourite shop, JoJo M Bebe and grab a frothy coffee.
Then it was home for more crankiness and a horrible bath-time. Am praying we get her sorted again tomorrow.
Today's pic is of my Christmas mug. I dust it off every year. Small pleasures and all that!
