Here’s.....

.....lookin’ at you, kid.

We had our first outing to take advantage of our National Trust membership this morning and had a lovely drive along the Strangford Lough coast road to Mountstewart Estate.

We did the ‘ploughman’s hill’ walk, but it turned out to be rather a short one, clocking up only 3900 steps. Will have to do better next time! Saying that, we were very restrained and didn’t go to the tea rooms afterwards, but headed on home for lunch.

We peeped into one of the formal dining rooms in the house and it was set for a beautiful afternoon tea, with at least one high chair at each table; turns out this is for a ‘baby’s first Christmas’ event! It will be a rather formal affair, as the tables were set with snow-white linen, fine china and silverware. I hope that the babies are on their best behaviour!
