The town is trying to be Festive

 ---Half heartedly.
Accompanied Redilady  into town, principally to visit the library, which became interesting.
I returned three books which had been borrowed on my ticket, but when R tried to borrow two books on her ticket, the computer showed that she  owed an overdue charge for one of the books that I had borrowed and returned. No one could think of a logical explanation ( It's what's on the computer so it must be right), but common sense prevailed and the librarian waived the charge
