Oliver
A visit to the dentist this morning for our six-monthly check-ups. Then we purchased a few odds and ends, before coming home for lunch.
After lunch we visited our grandson, Oliver, who is twenty-two today; he is my picture. Twenty-two years ago at 1430 hours was the first time I saw him, in an incubator; it was three weeks before I was able to hold him, because he was very poorly. Addenbrookes, The Rosie and Mr Jeffrey Brain to the rescue once again and for the first six months of his life. He is now about a foot taller than me, doing well in his job and enjoying his football and judo. He is seen here with a Star Wars balloon and wearing the hoodie that we bought him.
There was heavy rain for much of the day twenty-two years ago, but today there was only a little rain and some sunshine as well.
