when we came home from the panto (which was great fun) Oswestry was shrouded in darkness....an 8 or 9 hour powercut over most of the town. ...
a precious friend with a heart of gold, brought me a lovely cuppa round 10.30 as her road was one of the very few not affected....

this morning our church held a carol service here in Ashwood it was fantastic and very well attended by residents......

town it was a madhouse...parking was very difficult but funny enough the shops i went innwere not really busy at all

the blip is part of the old gates of St Oswald....i love any any any old ‘iron’ (yes i know....it’s not....)
