Dinocturnal

This is the scene I walked into just now - over an hour after putting them to bed. And Zion announced that he is dinocturnal... anyone any idea if that is actually a word? If so, what does it mean? He used it to mean there was no need for him to be sleeping right then... (I have a strong suspicion they have actually given in now as all has gone silent...).
