karibuni Christmas

The Christmas party at Karibuni. We went along on the promise of Bee’s presence (the little girl next to Zeke) and Zeke couldn’t have been happier. I freely confess to outsourcing all childcare responsibilities to Hilary (also pictured) while I collected various items from the church required for tomorrow’s outdoor carol event.

As Eve went to bed tonight she told me I’m the best Mum in the whole world. I asked “but how do you know? I’m the only one you’ve got.” She thought for a moment and said “Well...... you’re the best one I’ve tried so far.” I liked that response.
