Taking a stick for a walk...

Three months on from knee surgery I still cling to my walking stick when I go out more for comfort than anything.
 
But the other day having coffee with a friend in Marks and Spencer I accidentally left it hanging on the counter.
 
 
Well the staff apparently went around the customers asking if it belonged to them. My friend and I were not asked because they thought neither of us needed a walking stick and would be insulted!
(The loss was only discovered when I got up to leave.)
 
This simple arrangement of four illuminated walking sticks outside a house in Cornton is my contribution to the Blipfoto Christmas challenge of festive lights, which runs until next week.
