Tales of a bedbound mum

Ginger biscuit and icing

What happens when your 8 year old has icing left over after making ginger bread men and we have a stack of ginger biscuits because they were reduced in price... Yep some decorated ginger sandwiches which were a change from the chocolate I goorged on yesterday and felt quite sick from!

Had a funny kind of day today was feeling quite well for a short time and wrote some cards and then ended up resorting to the recovery position as I felt awfully sick and dizzy for a few hours. I even turned onto my stomach as it was the only way I could get any comfort. After a few hours I was feeling at least able to lie on my side again. No idea why I needed to lie on my stomach but it worked.

A has eaten day three of her advent calendar and we have gone back to dr Doolittle as she isn't settling with the Christmas carol this year at all. No use having a bed time story that stresses her out. She has also decided she wants to go back to graze boxes for her lunch on a Wednesday. She has had a few weeks off from them so hopefully at least there won't be any waste for a while.

All is fairly well in the care world although the general consensus about the dentists who have sent me an appointment letter for at the surgery after doing two home visits - and forgetting there tools on the last visit is that they are just 'stupid' now I really don't like the word stupid, and infact in our home its classed as a swear word but in this case... It suits them well...

Finally I would like to say a massive THANKYOU to everyone who has made my introduction into the world of blip soo pleasant and friendly... From my long suffering OU friends ( you know who you are!) to my newly met blippers. THANKYOU
