Wednesday: Looking Down

Things definitely feel like they are winding down - I only had one external meeting today so dressed down. The person I was meeting had had exactly the same thought so, after apologising profusely for our lacklustre appearance, we relaxed into it and had a productive meeting.

K. came to meet me in town tonight and we went for a pre-holiday meal at ''Nightingale' (seen from above here). It's an excellent restaurant and I'd been meaning to take K. there for ages. We had an outstanding meal and even K., who has an annoyingly lacking sweet tooth, agreed that the salted caramel creme was utterly life changing..........
