YAY!!!

My first Blip of the month (what a really poor show from Miss Suki McSuki of late)...

Work is settling down finally but I have had some surreal moments.

Last week, I found myself having to take responsibility for the repatriation of an employee's mortal remains from Beijing to the UK, after the poor man died suddenly... one of my bosses who would normally deal with this was on holiday and it was left to me! I mean I'm only a PA! I should be typing and photocopying and stuff...

But apart from that strange set of circumstances, things are going well.

Really looking forward to my trip to Rome next week with my mum. It will be my first break since Christmas and New Year and I really feel in need of it. I hope I can capture some lovely images while I'm there and concentrate on the creative things that make me tick the most - other than work for a change...

I have been keeping up with my running (except for some slippage the past two weeks) and I went out tonight after work before coming home... I was feeling as if I had truly lost my sparkle - you know how sometimes you get that way now and again? But my lovely sparkly, vibrant work colleague and new pal supported me big time and dragged me out... by the time I came home I felt totally brill and much better thanks to her!

Came home to my wee mog who, contrary to the look on her wee face in this photo, was really pleased to see me...!!! Think she was just a bit dazzled by my flash!!!
