To Boldly Remaster

I don't have satellite or cable TV (I cancelled my cable TV ages ago because I thought it was a waste of money), staying at my mum's house has pretty much confirmed I made the correct choice, she DOES have satellite TV and there really isn't much on it that I don't get on Freeview (except even more repeats).

I did come across the original series of Star Trek, apparently the colours and sound has been digitally re-mastered, I can't say I noticed! It HAS been years since I saw Captain Kirk and Mr Spock on TV (the movies don't count) so I had to get a Blip, the chances are I won't be watching it again, it was rather dated! I'll still remember the original series fondly when the crew of the USS Enterprise would more often than not end up setting their phasers to full, arming the photon torpedoes and blasting the aliens to bad special effects :-) Not like the more modern "politically correct" crews that rarely blasted any aliens.
