Going round in circles
THURSDAY
An emergency blip, of Huddersfield ring road, taken from the Alfred Street multi-storey car park. The University is on the other side of the road with the Emley Moor transmitters in the background.
My plans for the day were disrupted at 8 am by a report of lead theft from one of the sites that I manage. The thieves managed to cause extensive damage ripping up roofs on listed buildings to steal just a few pounds worth of metal. It took four roofers the best part of the day just to carry out temporary emergency repairs.
