The Holly Queen

I'm certain that this was framed (in the original plaster frame) from an old calendar. It hung at the head of my Great Auntie Bobbie (Blodwyen's) four poster bed at the farm house that she resided in that was once called 'the village' of Unionville. Having spent so much of my younger years there and sleeping in that very bed of hers, memories continue to flow even now.
The 'Holly Queen' continues to monitor life in the dining room of my humble abode and she is proud to refer to this time of the year as 'her season'.
