Keep the aspidistra flying

Our aspidistra at our new home.  It's very special to me—for its provenance rather than any aesthetic appeal.  It is a direct descendant of my great grandmother's aspidistra.  She divided her aspidistra, and gave a portion to each of her children; and so did my grandmother; and so did my mother. I expect I should do the same—sooner or later.
